Summer in the city

Chester Unlocked brings historical artefacts out of the museum and on to the streets of Chester Photo: Chester Unlocked
So Summer is here – even if it doesn’t always feel like it temperature-wise – and the We Are Chester team are looking forward to getting out and enjoying lots of good stuff happening in and around our city over the coming months.
Apologies for going a bit quiet on you all on the blogging front lately. We’ve been crazily busy with the old day jobs, given that this is a voluntary project that we do in our spare time.
Anyway, we’ll be upping our game over the weeks to come to make it up to you all, so please bear with us – it will be worth it! We’ll also, as ever, be tweeting and posting updates to our Facebook page on various exciting happenings. Just this week we’ve been talking about the Chester Unlocked initiative, which is bringing a range of fascinating historical artefacts out of museum storage and into a variety of locations across Chester. Meanwhile, for the foodies amongst us we can heartily recommend paying a visit to the Chester Food Assembly to stock up on delicious local goods.
In the meantime, is there anything that you guys – our lovely readers – would like to see us cover in the future? Or do you have an idea for a future blog post that you would like to write? Please do get in touch either via social media or the blog. You can email us via wearechester@gmail.com.
Here’s to a great summer in the city!
